Here’s the string of SMSes that were bouncing between me and Matt on Thursday morning four days ago.:)
[10:52AM] CY: “You’re still not in bed I hope, bud.:)”
[10:53AM] Matt: “Nope.:) On the way to Chinese Garden.”
[10:54AM] CY: “Haha.:)”
[11:16AM] Matt: “Great sky and contrasting clouds today.”
[11:33AM] CY: “Solid: yep the clouds look better than the last couple of days from my floor too. Don’t forget about the IT show. The Olympus E-PL1 micro 4/3s is out too; sorely tempted to go buy one tomorrow haha,:)”
[11:36AM] Matt: “Haha!”
[11:42AM] Matt: “Holy shit, I left my camera battery in the charge at home. Heading back!”
[11:43AM] CY: “OMG bud… you got to check these things before stepping out of the house next time LOL.:)”
[11:47AM] Matt: “I’m hopeless, liao! :)”
[11:52AM] CY: “Blog it later LOL.:)”
[11:57AM] Matt: “I’d prefer to forget it ever happened.:) I did the same thing once in Bangkok.”
[12:04PM] Matt: “To add to my stupidity, I just discovered the battery lying in the liner of my bag, just where I NOW remember placing it during my rush to get out of he door. *sigh*”
[12:15AM] CY: “Oh man ROFLMAO!!! BLOGG!!! :)”
We late learned that Matt was just two stops away from Chinese Garden.:)
Yeah, well I made it to Chinese Garden this time, camera and battery in tow . . . only to be thoroughly rained on.
Yeah – but at least the images at the Garden, especially the HDR ones, look magnificent.:)
