More pictures over the last week of our two very different children. Hannah seems quite receptive to our reminders for her to keep her noise levels down when at home, and while she still remains quite high-needs in wanting us to spend time with her, she seems to have quite (happily) adapted to Ling having to take care of Peter first and with Daddy as a a substitute. It helps too that our girl, as Ling shared last night, seems to be ‘a little scared of Daddy’ especially when I have to take a relatively stern tone with her – usually “Hannah – Keep. Your. Toys.”
Peter on the other hand has been quite a handful, especially for Ling. Feeds are long, and he’s been a perpetually hungry baby too. And boy, is he a fighter! I never remembered Hannah at just 4 weeks old to be nearly as vigorous or with fingernails that were as sharp. Moreover, we had to discharge our confinement helper early this week as she suffered a family bereavement, and we both offered her the option of finishing her service early to tend to the funeral rites. At times like these, I sometimes wonder if we would be better off getting some domestic help!
Still, the harder the parenting is, the more fulfilling it should be, if in an odd sort of way. Now, for more pictures, and all with the 17mm f1.8 and E-M5.
