The Panasonic 25mm f1.4 I picked up a month ago is the fastest lens I’ve got in my micro-four-thirds line-up. Having seen the kind of bokeh our Ang Mo bud’s f1.4 lens can produce on a full-frame DSLR, and I’d been wanting to see how a micro-four-thirds f1.4 lens matches in comparison. The pictures below were taken over the weekend during an Ikea breakfast of french toast and sausages (Ling opted for the mee rebus instead LOL). While the lens is still pretty sharp in the center, I seem to get the best results stopping down slightly to f1.8.
Hannah at all of 3 years 9 months is already a fan of Ikea with its large walking aisles and kid-friendly furniture sets for her to touch and feel. After this occasion though, I think her biggest impression will be the soft ice-cream that we introduced her to. She’s an instant fan of it, and couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful the yummy the ice-cream was all the way back home in the car.:)
