Hannah and I had such a great time doing a 2 hour leisure exploration of our neighborhood last weekend we went for it again last evening, this time round with Mommy coming along. Ling’s feeling all of five months pregnant now though and was a little nervous if she was going to be able to keep up with the two of us – especially after I said we were going to walk to Compass Point “using the long route” to which she worryingly replied “… er, what long route…??”
The E-M5 alongside the new pancake lens did the picture-taking this time. The lens is quite a wonder; compact, focuses reliably and sharp right in the center. It’s just a little on the wide side though for casual shots like these, so I had to take care not to have frame and keep Hannah right in the center and the frame edges clear.
I love ice-kachang, though what with the current weather I’m sort of living in an ice-kachang at the moment. Is that Sengkang Square?
Hannah sure is getting taller. About how often are you having to buy her new clothes?
Yep, bud – and more specifically, Kopitiam Square. We haven’t been to this foodcourt before – Ling thinks the food there is terrible, but we gave it a go anyway.
Hannah’s growing quite tall definitely at just going onto 4 years old. At this rate, she might be taller than Ling.=)
Hi Matt,
I buy her new clothes about 2-3 times a year, especially her pj. Her tees tend to last longer and these are stretchable :)
I ate there over a dozen times in 2010, during my semi-nightly walks, but only once in 2012. In my estimation the food isn’t that great, but I liked the atmosphere of the surrounding area (i.e., the dance group practicing nightly across the street). And there was a really nice auntie working the drinks stand who took care of me! :)
In 2012 the place seemed almost empty in comparison.
