This is an overdue post.
Last month, Hannah had her second playdate with another baby around her age. This time round, her playmate was a baby girl instead. Her name is Ixora (about 13 months old then). Hannah was still the older baby and so she played ‘jie jie’ (elder sister) to the ‘mei mei’ (i.e. Ixora).
I got to know Ixora’s mother (Krystal) via our blog. It all started when she wanted to purchase a preloved item from us. She is the 100% one-woman show when it comes to caring for her baby. I really salute her.
We arranged to meet up during the June school holidays. She drove all the way from the north to visit us! We had a good time of cooking, eating and playing (for the young ones) / chatting (for the mommies). Hannah did something naughty though. Out of the blue, she pushed her ‘mei mei’ and caused her to fall down on her bum (thank God that she had some cushioning from her diaper). I gave Hannah a piece of my mind and taught her to say “sorry mei mei” & to hug ‘mei mei’. While Ixora was crying over the fall, Hannah was on the verge of tears because I scolded her.
Below are some photos of the girls having a go at the piano :)
Cute right? :)
What a precious toy to play together with! ;D I’m sure they enjoyed it loads.
They sure did, Sam :)
It’s good to see that piano get some use! : )
Indeed, Matt :D
