I usually bring Hannah out for breakfast and do grocery shopping on a daily basis during school holidays. We stayed at home this morning as there was leftover bread. I fished out some cartoon bread cutters to spice up the breakfast time a bit by making shapes with bread.
I got the bunny (or was it called Melody?) and teddy bear shapes from Takashimaya. Using these bread cutters was a cinch. The bunny was strawberry and butter sandwich while the teddy was cheddar cheese sandwich :)
And Hannah couldn’t wait to have her breakfast – she sat down on the kitchen floor to eat immediately upon receiving her bowl of breakfast! The photo below is out-of-focus but I liked this expression best compared to other shots :)
very cute – both the bread and Hannah! can’t wait to spend time with the both of you on Monday! :)
I tried this too! :) She seemed to be more partial to it when i used cheese though… but it was fun for mommy too heehee
@ Doreen: Ya, it has been a long time since she last met you! But I’m sure she’d warm up to you in no time. :)
@ Lisa: Thanks for the cheese idea! Indeed, I think the user derived more fun :D
Hi ling,
The shapes r so cute. May I knw which section of taka u got it from. It’s called bread cutters?
Do u rem hw much is it?
Hi Yen,
The packaging looks like this http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g223/yingkadeco/Cokkie%20Cutter/miffycookiecutter.jpg
I got it from B1 (around the section where tupperware and kitchen utensils are sold) of Taka. If I remember correctly, it was sold at $8++. They have other cartoon characters such as Winnie the Pooh and Mickey. :)
Tks Ling, I’ll check it out when I’m there.
You’re welcomed, Yen :)
