Brazilian Cheese Bread

A friend of Yang commented about making Brazilian cheese bread on FB sometime ago and the recipe caught my attention for 2 reasons: 1) The method and ingredients were simple, and 2) I’ve not tried making bread.

I had some time on my hands this afternoon to give this recipe a shot. And I must say that the bread turned out to be simply fantastic! The interior was soft, chewy (a bit like mochi) and cheesy. It was quite addictive. The bread tasted best when eaten warm. It was of the savory kind. I’ve gotten the recipe from here. I made 2 alterations though: 1) grated parmesan cheese used instead, and 2) medium-sized muffin pan used instead of the mini one. Next time, I’m going to try adding either Italian mixed herbs or garlic to spice up it flavor! :P
