Our baby girl is now 14 months old! It’s a happy marvel and joy watching her grow each day and how she’s learning to better interact with her surroundings. But yet at the same time, there’s a creeping sense of urgency I’ve been experiencing that our baby girl’s cuteness is going to fast disappear when she gets older and it’ll be replaced by growing assertiveness in wanting her opinions heard and for us to do things her way.
Still, it’s still happy moments. We noticed that she’s picked up a new behavior: using a mobile phone! Not that she has an expensive phone now, but in place is an old calculator of mine. She’ll pick it up, hold it to her right ear, and do baby talk. So cute.:)
We suspect it’s something she learned at her nanny’s place, and Hannah seems to enjoy repeating it for our viewing pleasure. It’s a fun sight; she’ll go “ya ya da mah da mah” while on the phone, then look at us and grin.:)
Aw dear, these captured moments are so cute! :D
Making phone calls on a calculator. . . . That’s what I call establishing an early relationship with math!
