Ling’s just captured this afternoon a video of Hannah walking.:)

She sure is! And that fall didn’t even phase her. She simply got up as if to say, “Yo, ain’t no thang!”
Sometimes I wonder whether she felt any pain at all or that she didn’t understand what pain was. On a few occasions, I peeped into her room and saw that she hit herself when she fell against the cot side railings. She would usually whimper or cry a bit in pain and then try to pull herself out of the situation. I tried not to intervene as I wanted her to learn to overcome such situations. But heart pain ah!
Yes we’re trying not to intervene in Gabrielle’s learning to be independent too! She fusses when she can’t get at a toy that’s just out of reach, but she can actually move herself forward to get it if she tries! So, as parents we have to ‘ren’ our babies’ heartrending cries so that they will be able to deal with frustration later… sure is a learning experience for me too!
Gabe is now 6 months!! :) Can’t wait to see her taking her first steps just like Hannah. God bless y’all!

ling, what you’re doing is very good n v brave =) next time hannah will be a brave girl =)
Hi Lisa & Ann,
Thank you for all your encouragement and blessings! :)
We sat beside a couple with a willful toddler at Mcdonald’s just now. I was bracing myself for that kind of behaviour in about a year’s time…
I’m keeping my fingers crossed and am hopeful: just so long as Mommy doesn’t play good cop to Daddy’s bad cop act next year.:)
