During my late pregnancy days, whenever my students cheered for something in school and I happened to be in the vicinity, Hannah would move and kick in my womb.
My form class girls kept nudging me, their form and science teacher, to bring Hannah to school to meet them after I gave birth to her. And they kept telling me that they missed me. So I picked 1st Oct 09 to visit them in school. It was Children’s Day. Of course, this does not apply to secondary school students as they are deemed to be no longer ‘kiddy’. Ya right. Anyway, I bought a chocolate cake for them to spice up their day. It was their first day of final term examination too.
I was surprised that almost the whole class showed up to meet Hannah. The girls who wanted to hold Hannah washed their hands dutifully as instructed by their Mrs Foo (how they addressed me). Here are some photos taken by one of the girls on that day.
They are a great bunch of ‘kids’. I hope that they will all turn out to be accomplished young women (school vision, hee hee). :)
Er…. need to wash hands before can carry Hannah?? =)
She was barely 4 months old and immunity still not strong la. That was the least I could do. Also a lesson for the girls to practice social responsibility! Ha. One colleague even wore a mask (she was having flu) in order to come closer to take a look at Hannah. :)
Okie…. i know what to do when I get back. =P
“Thank you, xiao shen”, Hannah :)
