Women have their fascination with the Chanel and Gucci bags; men who’re photography enthusiasts have the same with their camera bags LOL.
There’s actually a web site that’s about the epitome of this love, and simultaneously serving also as a site for owners to provide reviews, and how they go about packing equipment into these containers.
Here’re the three cam bags I’ve got: from leftmost, then clockwise:
Tamrac Adventure 7 Photo Backup: this one has seen a lot of overseas action. It’s the bag I use whenever I’m traveling overseas with photographic equipment. The bag has two separate compartments: the upper one is a traditional backpack compartment, and the lower a padded camera compartment that can easily hold a DSLR body, two lenses, and a flash unit.
Lowepro Nova 180AW: this bag is the most recent acquisition of the three that I picked up in February this year. This bag I use to bring equipment to and fro from home to the office.
Tamrac Adventure Messenger 5: camera compartment capacity wise, this one’s the biggest of the three I’ve got. It’s long enough to hold the longest lens I’ve currently got (the Sigma 150mm Macro), and has a separate notebook compartment as well.
This is one stuffed Nova 180AW. There’s the Panasonic HDC SD20, the Sigma 10-20mm, the SB600 Speedlight, the D300 + MB-D10 with Sigma 18-250mm lens mounted, and my filter case.
sheesh… when will chanel/gucci/LV make camera bags? most camera bags are so not pretty la *flail arms in the air* you wear nice nice then got to carry an ugly lowepro -.- they gotta realise there’s a female market out there!
