An ex-colleague visited us lately and shared with me that Hannah could be taught sign language before she could articulate her needs. Sounds like fun and interesting to me. Here’s a video to show just that :)

Hi Ling,
This is an interesting video that you posted here.
Coincidentally, I taught my boys sign language when they were about 6/7 months old as I read that it helps to reduce frustrations (both parents’ & child) and whinning since babies can’t talk yet.
I only taught the very basic like “please”, “thank you”, “more”, “all done”. I was amazed & encouraged by their learning abilities that they could pick up the language at such young age and signed back to me when they were close to 12 months old. It was a good experience.
Encourage you to try :)
Hey, you actually did teach your boys some sign language too :D Ya, better than both parents and baby getting frustrated over communication right.
LOL this reminds me of meet the fockers… robert de niro was teaching the baby sign language too right? so interesting =) u should try!
