The weekend was pretty eventful if also tiring for the both of us, complete with mishaps and tending to Hannah. In no order of importance or sequence…
Hannah had a fever after her vaccination on Friday, but recovered on Saturday morning (thank God!)
Hannah grumbled galore over the weekend. She wouldn’t sleep when she was supposed to, and she wouldn’t eat up when it was time to. A lot of baby milk went to waste.
Sang lullabies to Hannah: worked 5 out of 7 times; two times she just wouldn’t be pacified.
Combated the weekend crowds at Hougang Mall and Compass Point to buy the necessary groceries and baby necessities. What madhouses.
Three packets of chicken rice stacked up in a plastic bag toppled IN the car. Imagine the mess!
Fixed my elder brother’s PC. Spent 4 hours of trying to isolate what exactly was causing Windows not to boot up. Turn out to be a temperamental graphics card whose basic VGA chip was OK but accelerator component had up lorry.
Finally got round to extracting off mini-DV and encoding the 2 hrs of Bali footage taken nearly a year ago.
Watched two other DVDs in rental but in bits and pieces and in-between singing lullabies: The Bank Job (mediocre) starring Jason Statham, and New in Town (just awful) starring Renée Zellweger.
Thankfully, we did get about 5-6 hours of sleep on all three nights though, but the day time was like hell LOL. But Ling sure looks worn out, likely because she wakes up so easily when Hannah whines in the night while I’m still completely comatose.
