Baby Prams

A continuation of our posts on baby equipment!

blog-stroller If nothing else, talking to and then going out with Ling to look for baby prams has at least resulted in my learning a couple of things about prams. Now, bearing in mind I’m starting from zero-completely-ignorant about baby stuff, examples of learning lessons include:

Must pack pram to see if can carry comfortably with one hand.

Must see if pram can be packed with one hand (the other hand presumably is used to cradle the baby).

Must measure length, depth and width of pram to see if it can even fit into the car boot!

Must check to see if the pram wobbles too much when given a good shake.

Must check to see if wheels are reversible, otherwise must do 180 degree turn when needing to push the pram the opposite direction.

Must check seating width of the pram. What if baby grows too fat…?

Must check to see if baby seating area is comfy.

Must check to see degree of recline. 160 or 170 degrees?!

Must check to see if handle bar is reversible.

And here I was thinking that the only thing the father needed to know was the price tag LOL!

In any case, we eventually decided on the Combi Urban Walker, pictured here.:)

  4. We nearly sprung for a Capella at Kiddy Palace, but changed our minds at the last second for the Combi.

Funnily, a couple of days later while in a lift at Tampines Mall, a young family with a Capella pram overheard Ling and I talking about prams, and they volunteered “Don’t buy Capella – it wobbles too much” haha.:)

  5. A really good check baby equipment here
my advise is take the 4 all in one sets this fit’s all “checks”

  6. We’re thinking of buying a Combi Urban Walker. Are you still happy with it?
